February 2025 Volunteer of the Month: Carole Hadlock of Arizona

This February, Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund is honored to shine a spotlight on Carole Hadlock, our Volunteer of the Month.

Carole has supported the mission for three years while living in another state! Out of Mesa, Arizona, she interviews applicants via phone and Zoom, updates email contact lists, organizes internal data, and so much more.

Carole’s passion for giving back is rooted in the inspiring journey of her late mother. After becoming a widow at 42, Carole’s mom pursued higher education, earning associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees in English and teaching. In her mother’s honor, Carole dedicates her time and skills to helping single parents achieve their educational dreams.

Carole owns and operates Dee’s Admin Services, and her ASPSF volunteer service complements her day-to-day work. A natural at administrative tasks, she finds joy in tackling the diverse responsibilities she takes on as a volunteer.

One of Carole’s favorite volunteer projects is assisting Program Manager Christi Brown with scholarship interviews with students in Crawford, Franklin, Johnson, Logan, Scott, and Sebastian counties.

“I enjoy learning about Christi and the applicants, even in a very small way, in their journey,” she said.

Though she may feel her role is small, we know it’s not! Carole’s dedication makes a BIG impact — empowering applicants with hope, encouragement, and the resources they need to change their lives. Thank you, Carole, for being an incredible part of the ASPSF family!
